Stencyl recently had their fourth Game Jam, where you had to complete a full game over a weekend. I decided to create an arcade style shmup similar to Tempest, but it’s pretty different overall. It hasn’t been put on Stencyl’s game page yet, but here is a video showing off the the gameplay. Enjoy! I’ll post an update as soon as it is released. It’s in Flash (made using Stencyl), so you can play it straight from the web page
Now a Flash version of it is out, with 44 levels!
Check out my game Crushing Cannon, which I created using Stencyl. The objective is to break the targets using the lowest amount of shots possible. Can you beat all 44 levels?
New level updates coming frequently!
Been a long time?
I’ve been working on some different games using Stencyl. I posted a video to my youtube account weeks ago of my action platformer Shape Wiper. The last few days I’ve been working on a Puzzle game for a competition. It’s not close to finished, but the endless mode is in playable form
Legends break was more so meant to be a general blog to give regular updates on my projects, talk about some of the great indie games out there, and discuss about game development. Right now, since CMMBN is my major project everything is integrated/hosted with legends break. However, since I’m using WordPress it has its limitations. Eventually, I’ll move most of CMMBN stuff to its own site so I can begin adding more features such as a place to host your custom files. This is looking to be done by the end of the year.
