Customizable MMBN: Update 16B
Sorry for the delay. A stupid bug took up more time than it should have.
- Added the ability for the battle to end now. Please look at the new scripts and the Battle XML file to see how it is done. Basically, important entities are “marked” for battle, and when all of the marked entities on one side of the field are defeated (Unmarked), the battle is over.
- With this come two built in Notification scripts: 0 HP and Victory. Look at the Megaman XML (and Airman) to see how these are used.
- Also with this comes two more scripts for Battle XML files: Left End Phase and Right End Phase.
- Added in more checking scripts related to Panels. You can see how these are used by looking at the new AreaSteal Chip
. - Also not the new initiation variable and scripts for entities: damageable (variable) and Set Damageable (script). This is used now for checking whether something can be damaged or not.
- Made more error catching for potential script errors you may make.

Customizable MMBN: Update 15B

Sorry for the wait, but this could have counted as a full update
- Fixed a lot of bugs. If you find more please report them.
- Added a couple of new scripts, check them out in the script document!
I am aware of the player’s HP numbers being too close, although it now works correctly for the enemy’s HP. Going to add a solution to that for the next update. Not sure what to focus on next
. Might work a bit on the chip menu again and add custom folder support. Also will do a couple of touch ups to the menus as well. Thanks for the patience everyone who follows this! Spread the word!
Customizable MMBN: Update 15


Update 15 brings customizable panels!
- You can now add your own panels frames and fillings onto the battle field
- Panel Fillings has its own reaction scripts, which perform when something happens like an entity moving off of it
- You can change ownership of panels to the opposite side now
- Take note of the new scripts needed at the beginning of the battle!
Yes, I skipped 14B
. There are some bugs/new scripts I haven’t worked out yet for both 14 and 15 so I might as well take care of them next. The base engine is getting closer to being complete!
Customizable MMBN: Update 14
- New attachment system that allows you to attach extra animations to your entity. The screenshot shows the Cannon attachment.
- New reaction and notify system. This allows entities to react to custom notifications. With this, you can now script how the Navi reacts to things like an attack (You could have it take damage, or even things like blocking and reflecting).
- Plenty of new scripts to toy around with
- Animations are now fixed. They run at correct speed and are independent of each other.
Expect Update 14B to be released later on today as well. It’ll have some more scripts I feel are needed, like scripts that allow you to replace another reaction script.
