Customizable Megaman Battle Network: Day 3

emptyPanels

Well, finally got all of the display settings done. I only added the graphics of the frames as a test. Graphics are usually loaded from outside the jar.

Doing this the second time around has been much easier although I’m programming using a different library for Java (Pulpcore instead of SlickSet). There is one thing I think SlickSet does a bit better so far (easier screen resizing when using custom draw methods) but I love PulpCore’s ease of deployment. I also love how easy it is to start a project, I can just jump in working on the scenes, rather than setting up a system for changing scenes (Although its not a difficult task at all).

This update should mean all of my next updates will include screenshots as well. Ofcourse, its nowhere close to the progress of my original engine, but its always fun to see a visual progress of the engine building up :P .
