Fangames to watch for: Megaman Battle Network Project Advent
The project is lead by Careno and the video above shows off some of the new character designs (of Lan, Megaman, Mayl, and Chaud) for this fan game. They have also released a demo, which you can get here. I haven’t been able to try it out yet, but from the looks of the screen shots it seems they’ve got the MMBN engine done well.
If you want more information about their project you can also visit their forum.

Hey, there. Kilik 64 here. I would just like to say that I’m glad people are interested in the fangame we (development team) is working on, and we welcome one and all to come to the site and… well, post there.
Also, I am just a member of the production team, not the project head. The team leader would be Careno/Sx-Zeta/stop changing your name. Just wanna throw that out there. >_>
P.S. Please tell any Megaman fans you know about this. We would hate to do all of this work and then nobody plays the game.
Thanks for clearing up my mistake on the team, I’ll edit and make the changes to the article.
I’ll definitely spread the word, just make sure the project is completed
. Too many MMBN projects end up being scrapped in mid development, it’d be nice to see one go all the way.
Yeah, name’s Wisher, one of the team concept developers. I’d second Kilik’s remarks about Careno the project head, and also reinforce that we’d love it if people came to the site and did a bit of posting. The more the merrier, eh?
Also, thank you for posting this article.
